scientists who abandoned successful careers and prestigious graduate degrees to forge lives as modern-day paper folders. Through the unlikely medium of origami, these artists and scientists reinterpret the world in paper, and bring forth a bold mix of sensibilities in regard to art, expressiveness, creativity and meaning. In the process, these offbeat and provocative minds demonstrate the innumerable ways in which art and science help us understand and honor the world around us.
